At Trust The Journey Academy, we believe every child deserves an education designed around their unique strengths, abilities, and needs.

Our K–8 program combines individualized academics, integrated therapies, behavioral support, and essential life skills in a nurturing, structured environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive.

Small Classrooms. Big Opportunities.

Our classrooms serve 6–8 students, with a maximum of eight based on individual student needs. With a targeted 2:1 student-to-staff ratio, each child receives personalized attention and consistent support.

Our dedicated team includes Intervention Specialists, educational leads, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), therapists, and paraprofessionals working collaboratively throughout the school day.

Academics Designed for Every Learner

We provide evidence-based, standards-aligned instruction in Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Health, adapting lessons to each student’s individual learning style and abilities.

Our curriculum resources include The Autism Helper, Eureka Math, Amplify Reading, and Studies Weekly, allowing us to deliver differentiated instruction while tracking individual progress.

Beyond academics, we emphasize social skills, emotional regulation, mindfulness, communication, and functional life skills to help students develop confidence and independence.

Integrated Therapies & Behavioral Support

Our holistic approach includes:

• Speech Therapy: Supporting communication, language, and social interaction.
• Occupational Therapy: Developing sensory regulation, motor skills, and everyday independence.
• Physical Therapy: Available through contracted providers when needed.
• Behavioral Support: Trauma-informed teaching and evidence-based ABA strategies incorporated into classroom instruction.

Our staff are trained in crisis management and de-escalation to maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.

A Space Designed for Success

Our Academy features specialized spaces that encourage creativity, movement, independence, and emotional well-being, including an Art & Music classroom, Health & Life Skills classroom, sensory room, gym area, dedicated lunchroom, and de-escalation space.

We also offer an Extended School Year (ESY) program during July to support continued learning and skill development for eligible students.
